Cultural Affairs Adviser Mustafa Sarayar Faruqi has assured that issues surrounding the organization of the Amar Ekushey Book Fair will be resolved. He made these remarks while speaking to the media at the Secretariat on Wednesday, November 13. Farooqui emphasized that there would be no obstacles to holding the book fair, which will take place at Suhrawardy Udyan. However, on November 6, the Ministry of Housing and Public Works sent a letter to Bangla Academy indicating that Suhrawardy Udyan would not be available for the 2025 book fair, suggesting instead that it be held on Bangla Academy's premises. In response, the cultural affairs adviser reassured on Wednesday that the fair would indeed take place at Suhrawardy Udyan. He also called for a collaborative effort to present Bangladesh’s culture globally, stating that the nation’s cultural diversity would be celebrated without any attacks on caste, religion, or ethnicity.
