TRUMP EXPECTED TO NAME SEN. MARCO RUBIO AS SECRETARY OF STATE

Mike Huckabee served as the 44th governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007. He ran for the Republican presidential nomination in both 2008 and 2016, securing an unexpected victory in the 2008 Iowa caucuses. Following his presidential campaigns, Huckabee hosted the Fox News program *Huckabee* from 2008 to 2015.

DS1Huckabee is also the father of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the current governor of Arkansas, who previously served as White House press secretary during the Trump administration. Sanders expressed deep pride when learning her father had been nominated for a position in the Trump administration.
